CATS Holiday Lights Ride

Start Location: Harmony Park, 7 South Vail, Arlington Heights, IL, 60005. This is across the street from Armand’s Pizzeria. Bathrooms are available in the building that Armand’s uses.

RSVP: Use the appropriate link button below depending on whether you are, or are not, a CATS club member. All riders are encouraged to become members, but non-members are allowed to “try out” a ride or two before deciding if they want to pursue membership.

Event Description: This is a night ride where cyclists will decorate their bikes with holiday decorations and/or battery operated lights. Some riders may dress up in holiday costumes but we will all spread holiday cheer by riding through the streets of Arlington Heights and weather permitting, Mount Prospect. The ride will be approximately 10 miles but will be adjusted depending on the weather and riding conditions. Following the ride, we will gather in a local restaurant (Armand’s) for food and drink. RSVP (by EOD Tuesday, December 9) is required for dinner so that I can let Armand’s know how many to expect. This is a very busy time for Armand’s so please help me out.

A change for 2025: The folks at Runner’s High n Tri have retired so our ride will start a half block away at Harmony Park, (7 South Vail, Arlington Heights, IL) which is across the street from Armand’s. Bathrooms are available in the building that Armand’s uses.

The ride will leave promptly at 5:00 pm.
